Timekeeper Home

The Home page serves as a dashboard for viewing information, performing tasks, and making selections from the main menu. For an explanation of the different components, refer to Overview of the Home page.

Timekeeper Main Menu

The Timekeeper main menu provides access to employee timesheets, leave and premium pay requests, schedules, reports, accounts, and other system functions. Depending on your agency's implementation, some of the functions described below may not be available.

Employees

  • Select Timesheets. Work with employee timesheets, profiles, leave balances, leave requests, premium pay requests, telework requests, and default schedules.

  • Add Employee. Add new users to the system.

  • Validate All Timesheets. Perform validation on timesheets ready for the validation process.

Leave and Premium Pay

  • Employee Leave Requests. Modify, delete and review leave requests.

  • Employee Premium Pay Requests. Modify, delete and review premium pay requests.

Accounting

  • Accounts. View and select accounts assigned to you, and add new accounts. Agency permissions may limit access to some of these functions.

Schedule

  • Employee Schedules List View. Add, submit and view employee schedules. The list view shows the employee name, user ID, schedule name, total number of scheduled hours per pay period, schedule status and type of schedule (permanent or temporary.)

  • Employee Schedules Grid View. Add, submit and view employee schedules.The grid view shows the employee name, the scheduled hours for each day in the pay period and the total number of scheduled hours per pay period.

  • Schedule Requests. Work with employee schedule requests.

  • Schedule Templates. View schedule templates.  

  • Shifts. View shifts.

Reports

  • Reports server (opens in new window). Access the reports instance.

  • Standard Reports. Run, print or save reports.

  • Saved and Scheduled Reports. Download, rerun, delete or e-mail reports generated with the Background Execution option. If the Reports Module is implemented, you can schedule reports to run at regularly scheduled intervals.

  • Reports Module. Create, save, modify, share and schedule ad hoc reports.

  • Publish Reports. Make ad hoc and/or standard reports available to other users.

Delegates/Reassignment

  • My Delegates. Assign or unassign a delegate.

  • Timekeeper Profile. Contains Timekeeper contact information. The contact information is stored in all of the Timekeeper's assigned employees' timesheet profiles.

  • Takeover Employee. Take over (reassign) users from other Timekeepers.

Telework

  • Employee Telework Requests. Modify, review, print or delete employee telework requests.

Continuation of Pay (COP)

  • COP Events. View employee COP events.
